Migration guide
Switch from Google Analytics 4.
Keep your history.
About ten minutes. Importing is included in every Radar plan.
- 01
Add Radar next to your current script
Keep Google Analytics 4 running for a week so you can compare. Paste the Radar tag in your <head>:<head><script defer data-site="YOUR_SITE_ID" src="https://radar.geodify.pro/js/script.js"></script> - 02
Import your Google Analytics 4 history
- In GA4, open Reports → Engagement → Pages and screens (or any report), set the date range, add Date as a dimension, then Share → Download CSV.
- For breakdowns, also download reports by Session source, Page path, Country and Device category. Upload all CSVs together.
Daily users and views from the Date report, plus whatever breakdowns you include. Past referrers are re-read, so old visits from ChatGPT or Perplexity show up as AI traffic, often for the first time.
- 03
Keep your goals
Google Analytics 4 goalsgtag("event", "sign_up")Replace with data-radar-goal="sign_up" on the element, or radar('goal', 'sign_up').
- 04
Remove Google Analytics 4
When the numbers line up, delete the old tag:
Remove<script async src="https://www.googletagmanager.com/gtag/js?id=G-…"></script>Once Radar is in, you can drop GA4 and the cookie banner it needs (with Radar's data-cookieless option).
